I was looking through a magazine that simply provided novelty items and gifts for people who think they have everything.
My mom and Dad were the hardest people to buy gifts for, if they wanted something, they went out and bought it.
My dad was a child at heart, and she liked all these odd things that came out, and was fun to play with. I remember purchasing him a singing fish when I was a kid, and she got kicked out of it. I remembered how Dad was always complaining about how freezing the toilet seat was, and how it made her hip ache. I found a toilet that not only had a heated seat affixed; however, it actually had a heated toilet bowl. I was telling my sibling about the toilet and asked if she knew they had heated toilet bowls, and she remembered seeing a single, however she would have never bought a single. I eventually told her I wanted to get it for dad for Christmas, however my associate and I needed someone to install it while they were away for an evening… Her wife was a real plumber and provided to get everything my associate and I needed for the replacement, and do the replacement, if my associate and I made the gift from all of us. My sibling wanted to update the toilet to a single one that not only had heating in the seat and bowl, but also had an evening light in the toilet! Our parents were about to get a gift that made Dad more comfortable, however would appeal to the fun side that dad had. It was the most perfect gift for both of them.
