I had heard someone saying they had a heated steering wheel in their car.
I had never heard about heated steering wheels, but I now knew they had them.
I wondered why heated steering wheels didn’t come as standard equipment. Everyone has HVAC systems in their car. They now put leather around the steering wheel to keep some of the cold off your hands. Why don’t they make the steering wheel get warmer when the HVAC’s heating system turns on? It makes perfect sense. How many times have you seen people blowing on their hands to warm them up, when sitting at a stop sign or traffic light? I’ve seen people doing it while going down the roads. Wouldn’t it make more sense to make the drivers safer, but keep their hands on the steering wheels? They could have a little switch on the steering wheel, just like the switches for adjusting the radio and cruise control, that turned the steering wheel heat off. I liked this idea and thought I could work on it. Then my sister told me that many of the luxury cars already had steering wheel heaters. It only made sense that in 2023, there would already be steering wheel heaters. I guess I was born too late to come up with some of the best ideas, and not have them already taken. I started thinking about something I could create that would help people get more comfortable with their air conditioning. Who knows; maybe I can come up with some special air conditioning that can help people who can’t handle the heat.
