My dad was forever complaining about the fact that his website didn’t get any hits. So I had offered to help him create a new website, although he constantly said no, then my uncle had helped him to create this website, and he was going to be the one to help him change it! Unfortunately, my uncle no longer lived in our area, and he visited every couple of years, although he didn’t stay at home long enough to visit, let alone working on a website. So last week, I called the website development supplier I worked for, and told them I needed to talk to the Heating and Air Conditioning web developer. I told him what I wanted to do, and he asked if I would send him the website address, and we talked about dad’s website for almost several hours, while I learned the website was boring. It was a website for Heating and Air Conditioning, it still needed to get people’s attention if dad wanted people to look at the website and sign up for newsletters. I told dad I had talked to a friend who specialized in Heating and Air Conditioning web development and told him what Dave had said, and dad said that the guy entirely knew nothing about Heating and Air Conditioning, although he was wrong… Dave had been an Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman for almost 20 years before he started working with website development. I gave dad his telephone number and web address and told him to talk to Dave. Two weeks later, dad was getting more traffic to the website than when he had it.
