I swear it’s like my neighbor calls for everything. What I mean by this is that any little issue with her home she calls a professional to fix it. For example last week she called her heating and cooling technician to change her air filter. I told her that if this ever happens again to put the phone away, save her money and call me and I will replace it for her and show her how it’s done. Changing your hvac air filter is super easy to do and I don’t think having a heating and cooling technician replace it for you and even charging you a service fee just to replace it is worth the money. I don’t understand why people just don’t look up youtube videos if they have questions. I can find over thousands of do it yourself videos on how to replace a heating and cooling system’s air filter. I remember learning how to replace an air filter buy my dad showing me how to change it out. Then go to your hardware store and find the brand that you like best and the correct size and you should be all set. I think this is a no-brainer but I believe that if anyone needs their heating and cooling systems air filter changed out they should first contact a relative or friend to see if they could come over and do it. My neighbor ended up spending $75 just to have her air filter changed out. that seems a little high to me but of course heating and cooling companies are going to take advantage of this because it is part of their services even though how small it is to the hvac technician.
