Our house does not leak, but the weather while in the rainy season is so humid that it makes everything in the house recognize damp or even wet. The people I was with and I asked some locals what they do to keep their houses dry, but what they explained was way too complicated for me. I am sure it truly worked to get rid of the humidity, but I needed a easyr route. The people I was with and I traveled to a main neighborhood where I was able to find a dehumidifier. I was not sure if it would be a great one because I could not study anything about it since it was in a different language. I bought the dehumidifier hoping it would work, but it did not work truly well. I am not sure if it was just user error or what. Some of our fellow Americans who were also residing in the country sent us a nicer dehumidifier after I told them about our problems.
