The office recently changed to a ductless Heating, Ventilation, and A/C option, both of us used to have central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C and that meant one temperature control that was centrally situated. Anytime the temperature control got changed, the person had to to walk up and do it. Everyone knew who was the one upping the AC or turning off the heater, and with a ductless Heating, Ventilation, and A/C option, each section of the office has its own temperature control. Also, the temperature control is a smart one. You don’t need to get up, and just use your laptop or iphone. This should have been a good thing for the office. Well I absolutely hate it. Both of us are not grouped based on temperature control, but our task at work. So our group has undoubtedly different heating and air preferences. Also, since the smart temperature control is operated on WIFI, nobody knows who alters the temperature control. The ductless mini chop is always turning on and off. Both of us can alter it right from our laptop. I am guilty to doing it. I hate being blasted with AC all day long. I will always turn off the air conditioning when I am on our laptop. Somebody in our group cares about to turn it on though. Both of us are always at war with one another over AC. This is so terrible for the ductless Heating, Ventilation, and A/C too, but cycling on and off makes for higher bills and also wears out the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. Our method is not going to last as long since all of us can’t agree on the cooling setting. Both of us won’t confront one another since the smart temperature control lets us be sneaky.
