I basically grew up as an only child! My mom pretty much always says that she didn’t need any other boys because she got the perfect one the first time around.
I honestly don’t know about that, however I do feel that not having any siblings in my life has undoubtedly influenced me a great deal as far as my own personal boundaries go. I just don’t prefer any other people touching my personal belongings. This is especially true when it comes to particular things in my residence, like our heating plus cooling machine. I guess that since I’m the only one who pays the bills for our heating plus air conditioner machine, I’m the one who gets to adjust the temperature control unit. I am aware that I should be the only one who touches the control unit in this residence! I tell everyone else who lives in our residence to keep their hands off of the control unit, but sometimes my boys decide that they’re too hot or too chilly plus they’ll turn the temperature up or down. I honestly don’t take kindly to that! My mother also stays with us, plus she’s the world’s worst to turn the heating up in the middle of the night after I’m in bed. I definitely understand that she’s my mother, however I still don’t want her to touch the control unit in the least. Maybe that makes me a terrible person, but if it does, I don’t care so much. I am the only one around here who needs to adjust the temperature control unit. If they don’t stop touching it, I’m absolutely going to get one of those locking boxes to place over the top of it!
