I have done a lot of research & I now want a building automation system, then i can’t guess I didn’t guess about it before.
I am totally from dwelling when I work now, then everything is contained to one room.
In order to save energy & money, I need to automate things. I want to have it so my office knows to turn on the Heating and Air Conditioning right before my work day. I then want it to power off when I normally finish. I want the lights to start bright when I work & slowly dim until they power off. It will motivate me to finish & then absolutely quit. I also want to control humidity, air quality, & fan speed in that single space. The rest of the home doesn’t need Heating and Air Conditioning or lights. It can be totally vacant since I work; But the moment I am done it would be nice to have automated lighting & integrated Heating and Air Conditioning in the rest of the home. I want to not flip a switch or hit a button, but with a BAS you don’t need to do anything like that. The system learns what you like & will do it! Or you can decide to set a program & keep it that way. It might be a heavy initial investment but guess of what I am saving. I will no longer need to provide Heating and Air Conditioning for the majority of my house. I am not going to accidentally leave on lights anymore since they will automatically power down. It makes the dwelling worth more as well.
