Back in the day, I used to love going to this gas station that had some of the best food around, but they had some of the most delicious dinner sandwiches, and when you ordered your food, you didn’t even have to order through the workers.

You basically order everything on an interactive screen and then you get your receipt printed, pay for your order and give it up when your number is called, and not only did they have some of the most delicious food, but they also had some of the best temperature control settings.

There was never one time when I went in there and the A/C system wasn’t absolutely working just right or the heating system in the winter. The temperature control settings were on point no matter what time of the year it happened to be. The employees were consistently polite and they kept the good food coming. I would always go to this place on my supper breaks during work. I loved the subs that they made and I also loved the fact that you could get extra meat put on your sub for a sufficient cost. I remember telling everybody about the awesome food at that gas station, and abruptly everybody was going there on their supper breaks, good in the eating section with the ideal temperature control settings while talking and playing cards. The temperature control settings at that place were truthfully better than they were at work. Now I live in a place that doesn’t have that gas station, and I miss it sometimes, but we still have good food where we live.

Those things are impressive I had to admit, and I’m thinking I should get some too for my home!

Today my wife was being extra with the pampering, which was nice.

She had it perfect with cut up cucumbers, diced tomatoes fresh from the garden, feta cheese, and cheddar cheese sprinkled on the top. She put the dressing on the side so I could do it exactly how I wanted. The chicken was grilled to perfection, she really is a great cook. Then for dinner, she made an enchilada dinner that was to die for. I couldn’t believe she put all this work in, and I thanked her for being so awesome and I tried to do the dishes, but she insisted that she take care of them. She just wanted me to relax after working on the roof, and all that time the AC system was cranking away.

I like to call the beach LalaLand because all of my cares melt away when I am there and it feels like a dream being there. I like to go there a few times a day to clear my mind and get some vitamin D. I don’t stay out long when I go in the middle of the day because the sun is just way too strong then, but when I go there again for the evening around 6pm I usually don’t come home until 10pm. I have fun with my local contractor friend, who is also my volleyball partner, and we end up talking and hanging out till well after sunset. We have no HVAC system on the beach, and in the summer it can get fiery hot, but we still have the best of times hanging out in that little sandy place by the sea. I am going to work more this winter to stay busy but I will always find the time to go to that beach. I’m reading an HVAC systems book now to brush up on the latest HVAC technology so that when I am working for the HVAC company I will not have any issues helping people with their problems. A lot of people ask me questions at work and if I dont have the answer it doesn’t look good for our company so I try to always keep abreast of the latest changes in the industry. I used to know almost everything back in the day but it has changed so much since then.

I just went for a ride to the beach, just two minutes from my flat, and noticed that the small fair kind of food truck had pulled up shop and left. It looked like one of those trucks you would see at a circus and it reminded me of summer when I was a kid. So seeing it leave is a bit sad but I know that it will come around again next year for the end of the summer. At least I was able to get a churro from them before they left. It’s run by a local business which sells desserts and stuff and they put it out there near the sea so people can feel like they are at a fair getting a yummy dessert. Well, it will be back to work for me with the local contractor doing my HVAC equipment repairs in homes and businesses. I do this job during the winter to make some extra money in addition to my online job. There isn’t much to do in this town except work on HVAC systems in the winter because the beaches are empty and a lot of local businesses are closed for the rest of the year. I try to do more work online and work at the shop to keep busy because it can get very quiet just sitting at home doing nothing. I am also going to buy a drum at the local business and get good at playing it. I’m off now to clean the condenser in my AC unit as it is very dirty.
