It is so much nicer to go out on our houseboat now that it has air conditioning.

It was like ten years old back then, so the boat is about fifteen years old now. It is still in pretty good condition for its age. My family and I were considering buying another houseboat when we came across an idea from the internet. We were looking at new boats when I saw a picture of a boat that had been renovated. I thought it looked like a good idea. I asked my family if they would be in on renovating the houseboat that we had instead of buying a new one. They thought that it was a great idea. One of the major things that we were going to do was add air conditioning to the boat. None of us had experience in the HVAC field, but we watched several videos on how to do it. We are pretty brave when it comes to DIY things, so we decided to try it. We got the central air all installed within a few days. We were not sure if it was going to work, but when we turned it on, to our surprise, it worked! I was so excited that the central air conditioning worked! I could not believe it to be honest. My family was all surprised as well. We felt really accomplished once we realized that the central air conditioning worked. It was our first project together, and it turned out great. We have been taking the boat out quite a bit more frequently since we installed the central air conditioning. It is so much nicer to go out when we have an air conditioned cabin to retreat to whenever it gets super hot.
