I have a carport that has just sat unused for over a year, however the previous homeowners put it a pressing distance from the house, why would I want to walk super far with groceries & my adolescents? I figured I would eventually come up with something for it.
It has a metal roof & two half metal sides.
I recently had a brian blast. What I am going to do is make it a usable office space, my family is growing & my buddy and I are running out of room. My office is going to be a dining room soon. I want to convert a carport into an office space with heating, cooling, water & electricity. I have looked at the metal sides & I suppose I am going to need fiberglass insulation. I am a new father. My wife works & takes care of the baby. There is no time for me to do the fiberglass insulation replacement on my own. I don’t even know if I want to do that or spray foam insulation. Insulation replacement isn’t hard, it is just time consuming & tedious. I have looked around online & I did find a apartment insulation repair corporation. That can do spray foam, vapor barriers, crawl space insulation & plain old insulation upgradement & replacement. Their fees seem adequate for what I am getting! Honestly I suppose I would spend money a pretty high fee to not deal with that stuff. I don’t have the time & my skin tends to react badly to the insulation… After I get them in there I can add drywall & call in the other specialists to make the space usable.
