We didn't have any lighting at the pool

I work as a manager for a very large apartment building complex.

There are more than 400 apartment buildings on the 10 acre property. We have a couple of amenities for our residence including two outdoor play areas for children, a basketball court, tennis court, and a pull and hot tub area. The pool and hot tub area is always closed on Tuesdays for maintenance and cleaning. I have someone complain every single Tuesday about the fact that the pool is closed. We’ve had to close the pool on Tuesdays for as long as I can remember and I have worked here for 5 years. Still, I get complaints every single week. Last week when I had to close the pool for 3 days, I had more than 30 calls to the office about the pool. I had no idea what was wrong with the pool, but none of the lights would work. In order for the pool to stay on at night, the lights have to work. We didn’t have power to the pool, hot tub, or any of the other outdoor features to illuminate the area around the pool or hot tub. We had to close the area until we could get an electrical contractor out to the property. We had to find a specific electrical contractor that handles commercial pull applications. I was surprised that we didn’t have to close the pool down for longer than 3 days to be honest. I found a contractor very quickly and the guy had time to fix the problems right away.
