It’s the end of September however I’m already well into the Winter prep on my house.
This is undoubtedly the first time that I’ve gotten off my duff to really do the Winter prep. But last years Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating costs stung so much that they got me to commit to Winter prep on my house. I should have been doing this all along. And there were plenty of intentions to do just that however then pigskin season happened. When that happens, I’m spending the fall inside the lake house seeing every game I can get my eyep on. That meant I had to be on top of my supplier early this year. So while I was in the summer, I promised that when the kids went back to school, I’d beginning the Winter prep. Our winters are pretty intense. Intense enough to spend the majority of the Winter months inside with the gas oil furnace going. But our lake house is older and there are so many locations that leak that overpriced Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating. So Winter prep has been needed for a long time. Well, tploy to my word, I went right to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier website the day the kids went back to school. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professionals basically spelled it all out for me on that Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier website. There were step by step directions for prepping the lake house for the cold of winter. From replacing weather stripping to adding insulation, that Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier check list was awesome. Not only that however they had a materials list as well. So I had a list of what to opportunity up at the home improvement center. We’re into the pigskin season however I’ve almost wrapped up the Winter prep as well.
