Just can’t get over how much we saved on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling

This Summer was the first Summer since we moved down here that we were committed to being more adequate with the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling.

The people I was with and I moved down here knowing that we were trading an intense Winter for an intense summer.

That was good with us as we’d had our fill of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating costs and being stuck inside the central air conditioning of our lake house all winter. Still, that didn’t at all prepare us for the heat and humidity of this region. That is something a person simply has to experience for themselves. The people I was with and I just really didn’t think what to do aside from crank the heat pump and get all the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling that we could. But that had a disappointing outcome on a couple of levels. First of all, undiagnosed Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling gets genuinely overpriced. The people I was with and I ended up paying just about as much for Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling for four months as we were paying for all that Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating back north. So this year, we chose to seal the lake house up really tight to beginning things off. That meant replacing all the weather stripping and sealing all the gaps on the exterior as well. Then we got some solar shades to stop the direct sunshine heating on a single side of the house. Finally, and with some difficulty, we figured out how to program the temperature control. The people I was with and I stuck to the temperature control discipline and it worked. Not only did we save a bunch by reducing the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C cooling demand in a large way, we felt better about the heat. This led us to get out more while I was in the Summer and appreciate all the cool stuff this region has to offer.
