Why do A/C specialists need certification?

My sibling-in-law Max was unbelievably sharp as a handy person, however even before my sibling married him, Max was already doing repairs for the neighbors. Max upgraded a small section of my Mom’s roof, put multiple windows and a door in our neighbors’ house, and repaired the exterior a/c equipment in the lakeside house he and my sibling were going to live in. I had a hard time believing that my crazy younger sibling was absolutely getting married, however since he was, I was ecstatic it was to a person like Max, but not only was he an excellent handy person, and able to service Heating, Ventilation and A/C systems, but he was also planning to go back to school to be an Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist. Max’s father owned an Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier, and Max often questioned his Mom about being sure Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialists needed certification? His Mom told Max that once the Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist was certified, Max could be bonded by the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier.. If Max did anything wrong with the Heating, Ventilation and A/C idea that he was finally working on, or installing, happened to cause mangle to the house or to his buyers, Max would be covered by his bond. His father told him that unless he went back to school and got his certification, he would not allow Max to task on Heating, Ventilation and A/C systems that did not belong in his own home. Max groused about it being unfair, since he had been finally working alongside his father on the Heating, Ventilation and A/C systems since he was twelve years old, but he went back to school. My sibling‌ said Max still works as a handyperson, but he is genuinely enjoying his task as an Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist.
