One thing that I will always tell everyone who is buying a house is that you should always opt to purchase the new home warranty if they offer it to you at closing.
It’s one of those things that you never really assume that you’re going to need, but if you do, you really need it! That’s what happened to us when the two of us obtained our first house.
All of us were both super enthusiastic and kind of flying high in the moment of closing on our really first house together. It was a model new home and so everything was basically brand new in the house. All of us never in a million years dreamed that within about many weeks of living there, the two of us would have a completely non functioning Heating plus A/C system. That’s what happened to us, though. Of course, the two of us were young and naive and the two of us never dreamed that the two of us would need the costly new home warranty that they offered to us at closing that day. I know when you’re young you assume that you can easily live on care about and you assume that your Heating plus A/C idea is going to keep running forever. Of course, once you get a little bit older, you realize that neither of those things is tploy and that you need a little bit more in both areas! Now that the two of us are older and living in our ninth new home together, the two of us assume that a new home warranty is a really important thing to have. All of us eagerly obtained it whenever the two of us closed on the house that the two of us live in now. If our Heating plus A/C idea tears up now, the two of us will be able to get it fixed for free!
