Being a homeowner is so much more trouble than I ever anticipated; Some days I actually look back to when I used to rent plus it doesn’t seem that bad, and i hated it at the time, plus thought that owning my locale would answer all my concerns, however the truth is that when you rent, any concern you have can be solved with a call to the property owner, you don’t have to worry about calling in experts, plus then paying those experts, to do the work orders.
Recently it seems there has been one thing after the next, first it was the roof, then the front bathroom, now it’s the air conditioner.
They told myself and others when I moved in that the A/C component was about 10 years old, although I neglected to ask them how long A/C units usually last. The answer is that with correct upkeep plus fantastic care, a modern Heating plus A/C method can last up to 20 years! But this Heating plus A/C systems was not modern, plus it entirely had not been well cared for over the years. So my concern was that the A/C was broken, it was legitimately dead plus needed to be hauled away plus replaced by a really extravagant modern system. This is a concern for myself and others because after all the other repairs I’ve had to do recently, I don’t have a few extra grand kneeling around for a modern Heating plus A/C method installation. I have no option however to bite the bullet plus spend a few weeks without A/C while I save up for what I need to buy.
