My boss rules the office with an iron fist.
It’s funny how nice he seemed during the initial interview.
I thought I was going to be working under a really cool guy. I guess he just wanted to draw myself and others in and then turn on myself and others when it was too late for myself and others to reconsider tasks. That’s the way the other employees felt about it too when they were hired. Okay, maybe I am exaggerating a little bit about how mean he is, then but he expects us to labor really strenuous and he does not have particularly much patience when it comes to not fulfilling our quotas or doing anything that he perceives to be goofing off. That can be something as self-explanatory as taking “too many” powder room breaks by the way. It’s the top achievers in the place of employment that he enjoys the most, and he makes no bones about showing it… His personality is also about as freezing as the settings that he puts on the temperature control. He enjoys it absolutely chilly in that office. The odd thing is that he isquite skinny and frail, and his touch is ice cold. How could he possibly be enjoying the a/c being on full blast when that is the case? Maybe he does it just to torture us. I don’t know, although I recognize the freezing un-even temperatures are starting to affect our labor performance. I have to wrap myself up in a couple extra layers and keep the sizzling tea flowing if I want to stay on task and not just rest there with our teeth chattering.
