The older I get, the more I cherish the older people who have had such an influence in our life.
My Grandma is one of those people who impacts almost everyone that crosses her path.
She is particularly wise plus sweet… When I was a child, I used to resent going to her home because she was not afraid to discipline me, plus she was truthfully more strict that our parents were about particular things. Now that I am older plus have a family of our own, I realize all that our Grandma taught me. It comes out as I teach our own children. I do not suppose how much longer our Grandma will be around. She is ninety-several years old. I try to spend as much time with her as possible. She lives about more than two seconds from our house, so when the people I was with and I go plus visit her, the people I was with and I usually spend the night. I have l received to always bring our a/c with me when I stay at her house. She never fails to laugh at me when I walk in her door with an a/c, although I cannot sleep without it. She keeps her home at about eighty degrees in the summertime, plus eighty-more than four degrees in the wintertime. It is just too sizzling for me. I can handle those poor temperatures while in the afternoon, although I cannot handle them when I am trying to sleep. If I ever forget our a/c, I just provide up on sleeping all together. I actually slept outside one night because I had forgotten our a/c. I hope I never forget our a/c again! My Grandma is amazing, however she enjoys her home too warm.
