Owning a business and an entire office building to go with it comes with a lot of things to take care of.
One of the major issues is being able to stay within a certain budget for certain things.
Energy use and electric bills is one big thing that has been causing me some problems in the last few months. With the Summer here, the commercial air conditioning system we have in the building has been working overtime. This has been raising the electric bill a little beyond the budget. I have tried to read up on energy savings tips and energy savings help on the internet. I have come across plenty of useful energy savings tips when it comes to heating and cooling. However, it was worthless for my business as it was all relating to home heating and air conditioning use. For a big building like this, I can’t very well buy a ton of ductless mini split air conditioning systems and space heaters. This would cost a fortune for the size of this building! Having ductless air conditioning and heating for a home makes sense, but what could I do for my business? I really need energy savings help badly! I did read one thing that may be useful. And that is to call my local energy company and see if they have a budget plan available for commercial businesses. That may be my only saving grace at this point. Otherwise, I will just have to somehow afford the larger budget for energy use in the Summer months!
