DIY heated floors in bathroom

Since I was a little boy, I have dreamed of having underfloor heating in my bathroom. I work as a lecturer so I have the summers off, then occasionally I go on trip but, more often than not, I just try to learn a current skill over my Summer trip. This past trip I attempted to put heating under my bathroom flooring. I researched it a lot, study up on everything, and got the supplies would need. I then began ripping up the cement in the bathroom. This was a lot of work and undoubtedly messy. Once that was done, I laid down the heat matting. Of course I was careful not to cut the wire that runs through the matting. After that, it was a straight-forward as gouging out a space for the temperature control and wiring up the temperature control. The hardest section was sitting the current cement back down. It took myself and others a long time to master the cement cutter. I had to go back to the apartment improvement store and buy a few extra tiles because I ruined some of them. It took myself and others all Summer but by the time university started up again, I had heated floor in my bathroom, just as I constantly wanted, plus, I l acquired a few current skills. As Fall settled in, I was thrilled to have a warm floor to stand on while I got ready to head to work. But now I am wishing that the rest of my beach house had radiant floors too. Perhaps I will work on a single room per Summer until my whole beach house has heated floor. It should only take about six years.
