This was a real bummer, just for us all to have air conditioning every one of us had to spend almost 100 dollars per evening at this hotel, and for the 2 nights every one of us were there, that was almost 200 bucks plus food.
Thunderstorms can be nice for some people. But for some people, thunderstorms can be a total eveningmare! This was the case for me last summer… Every one of us ended up having one of the biggest thunderstorms in history. And because of this, our power was out for 2 nights! Not to mention, it was actuallywarmout. This also meant no central air conditioning unit! Having no central air conditioning program in this heat where I live can be a major problem. Some homes in the area invested in back up energy sources to run their central heating, ventilation & A/C units in the event of power outages. Our house was not one of those! During this time, every one of us had to take off from our jobs & go to a local hotel in neighborhood that had the power back up. This was just so every one of us all had access to quality air conditioning! Every one of us could not even run some kind of fan in our house because of no power. This was a real bummer, just for us all to have air conditioning every one of us had to spend almost 100 dollars per evening at this hotel, and for the 2 nights every one of us were there, that was almost 200 bucks plus food. That was even more than one month’s energy bills! I was not glad about the loss of power & air conditioning. No one every one of us knew had air conditioning to even be able to go stay with them for a few nights. That hotel’s air conditioning program was our only choice. When it was all over, I kept talking about how much I hate thunderstorms!
