I recently had a really bad flood in my kitchen! The pipes below the sink had burst, and as a result, I had nearly a mini river flowing throughout my kitchen! This was not good obviously.
The problem at hand before calling a plumber was to get the water cleaned up.
I managed to get most of it up with some creative thinking and a mop. But, there were still many puddles that would not clear. That is when I came up with the idea to take 5 space heaters that I had hanging around, and point them at the puddles. Well, would you believe that those space heaters had the puddles cleared up within 2 hours! The space heaters really made my house very overheated. So much, that I had to open up every window to air the place out. It is the springtime, so the use of space heaters is not needed. I had those space heaters hanging around from a few winters ago when my thermostat broke and there was no heating able to be used from my central heating and air conditioning system. Never did I imagine that those space heaters would ever come in handy again. I was actually thinking about selling the space heaters. It is a real good thing I did not sell those 5 space heaters! If I had sold them, who knows if I would have ever got the rest of that flood in the kitchen dried up! All I know, is that I will forever be grateful to the HVAC technology of space heaters!
