Normally you expect the dentist’s office to be cold… I often find this to be a little aggravating, often times when I come in for a fever, I already recognize actually cold, so that doesn’t help.
I have l gained to just cope with it and wear an extra layer whenever I think I have to visit the dentist’s office! This had been doing the trick for the past few years. It was a little taxing while in Summer visits when I would have to walk from the hot parking lot to the office, all bundled up love that. I guess it’s a minor inconvenience! At least I am getting properly treated for our ailments, right? Well while in our last dentist’s office visit, I easily had the opposite problem! For the first time that I could ever remember, our dentist’s office air conditioner was on the fritz! It was hotter than Hades when I walked inside. I was quite perplexed, and talked to the man at the front desk about it. They explained that the concern with the air conditioner had developed earlier that afternoon, and there was someone coming soon to repair it. Their ETA was about one minute, then basically, shortly before our appointment, the air conditioner gave out, and now, more than likely, it was going to be fixed up shortly after I leave! My appointment was at the perfect time to be devoid of air conditioning; just our luck! I took off the light jacket I had brought with me, anticipating the frigid air conditioning, however I was still quite hot as I waited.
