A few weeks ago, I was facing a frustrating problem as my apartment’s window cooling system component broke down on me again, this was the second time this year, & at this rate the window air conditioning component wasn’t going to last into the warms summer season! When my landlord called saying that he could replace it for me, I asked him to consider another alternative first, and let me just explain something here: In hotels, each room has a singular cooling system unit, however it isn’t mounted into the window. These “room cooling systems” are very useful because they are able provide a level of heating & air conditioning that is perfect for that room, however well, ductless mini-split cooling system systems are undoubtedly similar! With those, the outdoor air condenser & compressor takes outside air & chills or heats it. Then, the air is taken indoors & dispersed through an air handler that has a built-in temperature control. Now then, I thought I could convince my landlord that I could install the new ductless mini-split cooling system unit on my own in my condo, if he were willing to buy the system that is. Seeing a possibility to avoid hiring an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C professional to do the task, he took me up on the offer & purchased the ductless mini-split method for my system! I was pretty shocked, but still determined to install the method myself even if I didn’t understand the first thing about installing a ductless mini-split Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system; I managed to get the outdoor air compressor & condenser into venue, & then I was able to get the indoor air handler & temperature control venued on the wall. The only hangup was when I realized that all of the connections for these two pieces of device had to go through the wall, & I had no way to put in a big enough hole! I wound up paying a Heating, Ventilation, & A/C professional to help me install the system.
