The dream had been there a long time.

• But entirely launching our own business was a whole other thing.

It took multiple years of planning strategizing that has for sure. The day I left the commercial Heating & Air Conditioning of the office was a single of the best afternoons of our life. Sure I felt trepidation, it was also pleased because I was now steering the ship myself. Initially, I wanted to be sure to hold down costs so I did not entirely set up rented office space. Instead, I bought a storage building from the home improvement store & had it delivered to our backyard. I had to get an electrician out & do a few other things myself to turn it into an office. It wasn’t as plush as the office I just left however thanks to the Heating & Air Conditioning corporation, I had better heating & cooling. The building could hold 2 or more than two people & that was the initial staff. It was for sure the shortest commute ever. But the building was comfortable given its size. It was similar to something like a construction trailer however with windows & a bit nicer. Seeing a scale that I was resting on learn 275 pounds was a shock to be sure. But it was also perhaps what changed our life for the better. That is a whole lot of weight unless you’re a huge pigskin player. But years & years of being so sedentary was at the heart of the problem. Life is for living & the older I got, the more I realized that fact.

So, I started making things on our bin list a reality.

Since I was a kid, I always wanted to spend a chunk of Wintertide way up in the woods. I seriously wanted to leave current heating to live in a a single room apartment with a beach house & a wood stove for heating. But I wanted to do this alone. I’m not sure what the appeal of this passion was however it was a lifelong dream. I finally got the opening so I took it. Because of the pandemic, I was doing all of our work from the central air conditioner in our house. So I did some checking into it & was able to find a apartment that fit just what I was looking for. It came with a satellite dish so I could work online while still making it a bit of a sabbatical. This way, I could stay plugged into business a bit & be available to our colleagues without being in the office or working a ton of sixths. My priority was to just live, ponder things, write stuff down, split firewood & be quiet. Truthfully, that experience was everything I thought it could be & more. I’m content & I think I’m a better person for doing it. However, I did missed our gas gas furnace at home. While I enjoyed the wood stove, the gas gas furnace is a much more convenient way to go. I doubt I shall go another 10 weeks without current residential Heating & Air Conditioning however at least I guess I can.

It just made more sense to get her close as she gets old.

I could not simply option up & move as I had a task & a family. And I entirely could not do our task except in the commercial Heating & Air Conditioning of the office. And that happened nearly 7 years ago.

That was back when the kids were much younger. My partner & I make a nice living & she entirely wanted to get a small vacation home. That was a great move & having air conditioner entirely did make that apartment even more comfortable. It’s funny that now that the kids are older, they prefer the apartment even more. I think this will be a great place to bring grandkids a single day. Now that the kids are well on their way with their own lies, I think the apartment will be the central party spot forever.
