Some of the greatest memories I have are going to the aged lake house my family owns… Up until recently, my parents owned the lake house but the two of us wouldn’t go nearly as often as the two of us used to. When the tree limb hit the dining room a/c, it sounded love a bolt of lightning. The sound was loud plus crashing. I thought the current home was going to be chop into 2 pieces. The people I was with and I were harshly lucky the window did not break. The a/c will need to be replaced. It sat in the rain for hours, because none of us wanted to venture out in the storm. The people I was with and I assumed the a/c was toast, due to the crash. Luckily, we’ve had the same a/c for almost 15 years. It was getting time to replace the outdated component anyways. When the Springtime sales start, were going to head over to the hardware store plus purchase something brand new.

It seems that one of the most respected questions I get from our buyers is about where they can get a great but cheap A/C unit. They can’t believe that great & cheap are not synonymous. There are some great air conditioning units that won’t cost an arm & a leg. There are particularly few cheap air conditioning units that are good. I have steered some of our buyers into purchasing a refurbished air conditioning unit. You can often option up a high quality A/C component for the cost of an average air conditioning unit. The A/C component will have been refurbished. This only means that it may have been recalled & repaired correctly but the owner opted to not keep it. There may have been a small glitch in the A/C component shortly after it being installed. Once again, the owner will have opted for a new A/C unit, & this one would be fixed & sold as refurbished. We also get air conditioning units that are considered used. If it is brought to a house & the installation begins but then it is noted that it is not the A/C component that was ordered, it is considered used. Just the fact that the installation had begun, means that it is no longer brand new. It could be that the A/C component hadn’t even been turned on. If you can’t afford a brand new air conditioning component when yours breaks, don’t be afraid to inquire about used or refurbished A/C units. There is no problem with wanting to see the worksheets that show the scope of work done on the A/C unit, or why it was returned.

My indoor air quality is seriously gross, and everything you can guess of is inside of our home, then first, I have entirely long hair and I shed worse than a cat.

My long hair gets in the Heating as well as A/C system, then goes into the HVAC duct and then spreads around the home! I hate seeing our hair fly around and I actually despise picking it out of our air filter, but next, pollen is getting into our house.

There is mold in the cooling coil, around the condensate drain and even mold around the outside of the system. I guess our indoor air quality needs to be taken care of. In order to get rid of the mold I entirely should invest in a dehumidifier. This little IAQ unit would unconnect moisture and keep me mold free. In order to scrub the air quality, I need an air purification system, but what is nice is that there are air purification plans sold that hook right into the Heating as well as A/C. As the heating and air turns on, the whole-house air purifier would get to work.

I am hoping that after the house becomes air slim the cooling system can achieve whole house temperature control. If not, the renters are right as well as the AC system is the problem. The radiant radiant heated floors are more comfortable than any other gas furnace I have ever experienced. Both of us also got a nice smart thermostat plus that really makes things convenient for us. I never knew you could control your Heating plus A/C system remotely with such a nice smart thermostat.
