Generator ensures operation of a/c and oil furnace

Last Spring, our local part got hit by a vicious storm. There was thunder, lightning, torrential downpours and legitimately high winds. The winds knocked down tree branches and took out power lines. The entire part was without electricity for nearly a week. Because the leftover piles of snow we’d accumulated while I was in the Wintertide suddenly melted, there was widespread flooding. With no power, our sump pump was not operational and our basement flooded. All of us were also without a/c. The weather was horribly humid and the two of us couldn’t lower the thermostat, run a fan or even open the windows. The beach house became terribly overheated, clammy and uncomfortable. There was condensate running down the window panes and problems with mold and mildew growth. All of us went without the convenience of running water, lights, microwave, internet and cable… Most of the food in the refrigeration and freezer spoiled, and it was extremely inconvenient and the two of us were left with a great deal of injure. I started thinking about the consequences of a power outage while I was in the winter. All of us couldn’t survive without the furnace. It would be dangerous to attempt icy roads in order to reach a hotel. I contacted a local Heating and Air Conditioning corporation and invested in a backup generator. The generator is permanently installed and automatically starts up and takes over in the event of a power outage. Because it runs on natural gas, there’s no worry over refueling. The generator supplies satisfactory power to run all of our household appliances, including the sump pump, a/c, oil furnace and water pump. All of us won’t be left without a/c while I was in a summer time storm or heat while I was in a blizzard. My family won’t be disrupted by a power outage while I was in extreme weather.
