I was having some pretty bad air quality problems in our home the last year… After doing various bits of problemshooting, I found that the first step I should do is to get the ductwork of our central heating & air conditioner cleaned; Cleaning the ductwork of the central heating & air conditioner I figured was the issue, however i found this out by someone telling myself and others that when you do not have the ductwork of your central heating & air conditioner cleaned on a semi respected basis, it can create bad air quality in the home, and so this was the first thing I did.
I expected that after the local heating & a/c supplier sent a certified heating & cooling specialist out to do a full on ductwork cleaning, that our air quality would be better & our problems would be nothing but a distant bad memory! However this was not the case.
It turned out that the ductwork of our central heating & air conditioner was not the problem, and the problem was really the neighborhood I lived it. So the only way I could repair the air quality would be to get some kind of an indoor media air cleaner. The best 1 would have been a whole home air purification system! But whole home air purification systems are a bit out of our price range. So I had to settle for getting a few portable air purification systems. The portable air purification systems really did the task!
