My sister does a lot of babysitting.
She has been babysitting since her days in high school.
I think that’s a pretty cool thing. My sister is usually pretty good with all of that too. Just my luck that when I hired my sister to babysit my kids while me and my wife went out for a nice dinner something had to go wrong. My kids are not the best behaved children in the world. My sister knew this when she took the job. But she can usually handle them. She has in the past. But this time it was a bit different. To make a long story short, the kids started getting pretty rowdy and my sister could not stop them. And in turn they ended up breaking my smart thermostat! The smart thermostat was literally cracked in half! The central heating and air conditioning system still worked thankfully. And the regular part of the thermostat worked to keep the central heating and air conditioning system going. However all the smart features of the smart thermostat would not work with it being broken in half on the wall! My sister was very sorry about all of this. She even offered to pay for a brand new smart thermostat. I told her that appreciated the offer but turned her offer down. This was because I was going to ground my kids and give them no allowance for 6 months until the smart thermostat was paid off! That really shaped up my kids. I have to say now a year later, my kids are more well behaved at home than they ever were in the past.
