My husband is constantly asking me how I personally think it is time to turn on the a/c in the summer.
- My pat answer is to constantly tell him that I think it is time for operating the air conditioner because I am too hot.
He just doesn’t happened to think that is a superb enough answer. He wants it to be over ninety degrees outside for a week straight before the people I was with and I turn on the indoor air conditioner. Unless it stays in the eighties at night or if the indoor humidity level is over 90% then he will leave the air conditioner on consistently at night. I tell him he is cheap even though he tells me, no way, that he is being frugal. I have often wondered precisely what the difference between cheap plus frugal is except maybe it is the same theory as being eccentric or crazy. If you are rich, you are eccentric plus on the other hand if you are exhausting then you are just plain crazy. Last week, for instance, I asked him if he could please turn the heating on plus he asked me why exactly I wanted the heat on. I was about to get the same routine confrontation that I get when I ask to have the air conditioner turned on in the middle of summer. I told him that I was cold plus if I didn’t get some indoor heat I was going to move in with our daughter. He started to belly laugh at me when I said that. He told me it would drive me crazy but he went over and turned on the oil furnace so that I had some heat.
