Last year, it seemed to me that all the people I was with and I heard on the weather was new threat of global warming plus how it was the reason the people I was with and I continuously had such a sizzling warm season.
Then Winter season arrived and everything was still terrible.
Winter season was brutal, but now it was ridiculously cold and there was snow everywhere. The two of us had over a foot of snow hanging out by the end of October plus the frosty plus snow continued from then, right through April and until May. The two of us had below average temps that were up to more than 20 degrees lower than normal, on average, plus it easily lasted for several months straight. One church was particularly tired of plowing out their parking lot plus they had written, ‘What happened to global warming?’ on their kiosk. I had to joyously laugh because they used to have there, ‘Come in for heating.’. During the warm season they would always invite people in because they have air conditioner.. Unluckily, last Winter season, their trusty old oil furnace went out plus they couldn’t get it fixed. They were begging for additional donations from the congregation plus they even had a special oil furnace fund raising dinner at the local firehall. I called ahead of time with a checkbook in hand plus I asked if I could order twenty meals. I took the meals to the local homeless shelter in the area. This saved the homeless shelter from purchasing food and cooking plus the oil furnace repair was completely covered by the dinner proceeds. The very next week they had a sign that said, ‘Spaghetti dinner is the road to heaven.’.
