I’m just an average guy living in an average home with an average HVAC system.
I don’t have anything fancy at all in my home.
I heard about people installing air purification systems in their home with fancy dehumidifiers and things like that, but I never really felt I could afford anything fancy like that. The thing is, I was talking to a buddy of mine the other day and he was telling me about some of the upgrades he got to his HVAC system. He said he got a smart thermostat with a really nice air purification system and a humidifier/dehumidifier combo unit. He was telling me that it might seem like a sizable investment, but it all pays for itself eventually. He now has excellent air quality in his home and the energy bills are much lower than what they used to be. He uses the humidifier to make it feel more comfortable in his home and he is able to adjust the thermostat so he doesn’t have to pay as much on the energy bills. Not to mention, just using the smart thermostat saves him a great deal of money according to him. I have been thinking about all of this and I decided I should at least try using a smart thermostat. If that worked out for me, I might get some of the other upgrades to the HVAC system also. The smart thermostat was amazing to me when I first started using it. I love the remote access and how it learns my preferred settings. I have been saving big money on my energy bills, so I’m thinking about getting the humidifier/dehumidifier combo unit next.
