It’s definitely worth looking into zone control thermostats if you’ve got a family of four or more

You know, I don’t know how families were able to stand each other prior to the 21st century.

My wife and I have two boys, which are six and eight years old.

They’re in an age where they’re constantly using electronics and improving their hand-eye coordination. They’re also proving to be very particular kids, and want their rooms to be kept at different temperatures. Of course – why would anything be easy for us as parents, right? Well, that’s just where things have turned around for us. See, a friend of ours suggested that we look into zone control thermostats for the boys’ rooms. I had no idea what that was, but when they were done explaining it, I was more than happy to sign up for it! See, zone control thermostats allow a house to heat or cool different rooms at a time. One of our boys’ rooms could be warmer at around 75 degrees, while the other could be cooled down at around 70 degrees. How nifty is that? This was a huge perk to my wife and I, as we constantly get into arguments with our kids for playing with the single thermostat we have in our home. Maybe with zone control thermostats, they won’t feel so obligated to mess around with our specific settings! We’re supposed to meet up with a heating, ventilation and air conditioning service technician later this month to discuss whether we can get zone control thermostats installed at our house. Our fingers crossed that we can make it happen!
