We put on an addition to our house and we need to figure out the HVAC issue

For the past couple of months, we have been working on an addition to our house.

Not only are we putting on a big, two-story deck, but we are also building a three season room, an extra living room, and even another bedroom and bathroom.

With all of this new extra space being added, our current HVAC unit is probably not going to be able to keep up with the demand for all of the additional heating and cooling necessary for the house. We’ve been talking to our HVAC contractor about what our best options are for adding heating and cooling to the new part of the house. We’re at the point where we have it narrowed down to a couple of different things. We might change out our existing HVAC system for a much larger one that will be able to keep up with the demand for all of the extra space. To me, that seems like a bit of a waste, since our furnace and central air conditioning system are not really that old. I hate to get rid of our existing HVAC system because we just bought it a couple of years ago. The other option would be to put in another additional furnace and central air conditioning system for the new part of the house. I’m not sure what to do. Both options seem extreme to me, to be honest. But at least with an additional HVAC unit, we would also have the option to have zone control heating and air conditioning. That sounds pretty appealing to me to we will probably end up going with that.
