My girlfriend called myself and others the other morning plus asked myself and others if I was interested in helping her with a project… She did not provide myself and others the details until I agreed to help out. She was looking for assistance to help out with a fundraising lunch at church plus needed someone to help her prepare much of a meal the morning before, however normally this would not be a complication but their church does not have any sort of plus the morningtime highs have been in the upper 72s. She assured myself and others that it would be a lot of fun plus it would be a fantastic opportunity for us to catch up since the two of us hadn’t seen each other in a few months, however i was hesitant but agreed anyways but, after a few minutes I regretted that decision. The kitchen had no ventilation other than a few windows plus the large air vent that was located over the stove, then there were a few stands set up in the window but they did not seem to help much either, and by the time the two of us had finished all the prep work I was warm plus sleepy. This was no way to spend a morning catching up with our friend. I get that she enjoys to do volunteer work but recommended that next time the two of us simply meet for dinner. That way the two of us can relax in an air conditioned space plus just talk instead of perspiring to death in a warm kitchen. She could tell that I was trying to be polite plus apologized for the morning that the two of us had spent together. She agreed to meet for dinner next time plus I was ecstatic.
