Living up North can be quite cold mess

I have been residing up north for about six years now.

I enjoy it plus I dislike it at the same time.

It is quite a bit cooler than I am used to, although I am slowly adapting to residing up here. I grew up out west with our family, plus it was much warmer there. I do not remember ever turning our gas furnace on. I am sure our parents would say that they did turn the gas furnace on a few times, however it was usually sizzling enough throughout the Wintertide to go without using the gas furnace. I had never turned on a gas furnace in our life until I moved up north. Now, I have to use our gas furnace about more than two-thirds of the year. It is ridiculous how much currency I spend on our electric bill because of it. I have to turn on our gas furnace in November because it seems to go from being in the seventies to being in the forties overnight. I use the gas furnace from November all the way through April. Occasionally, I even have to use the gas furnace in May. It is ridiculous how much colder it is here. I believe our blood is finally thickening because this past winter, our gas furnace was having some complications, plus I managed to live in our home even though it was only about fifty degrees. It got down to about forty degrees a couple of times when the temperatures were in the disadvantages for a few afternoons. If that would have happened our first year residing here, I would have had to leave plus stay with a friend. Living up north is not too bad, although I miss the sizzling weather of the wild west.
