I have constantly been a pretty confident and decisive woman when it comes to knowing what I am great at, and what I can be disappointing at. Ever since I was a little child I have constantly been very strong and able to service almost anything. That’s why when I got a area time job in town at a ware home packing and loading heating and cooling units into the huge back of a truck, I sincerely thought to myself that it was going to be a breeze. How difficult can picking up and promptly moving around a few HVAC units genuinely be? I had a feeling at that particular time that I was much stronger than the outdated boys around me. I couldn’t believe who they told myself and others I was going to be toiling with. Who knows, I figured, maybe at the end of the month I will do so great they provide myself and others a huge promotion! After my first day however, I realized precisely how difficult moving around these bulky heating and cooling units genuinely was all day long. As the day kept moving forward, I found myself falling behind the pace of the y0ung and old boys I was toiling with. Even though these boys were at least twenty years older on average than myself and others they were strong and efficient! By the sad time the workday was finished I was exhausted, embarrassed, and honestly, I could hardly believe my back. The next day I had to call in and tell the shift manager I wouldn’t be coming in today because I couldn’t even manage to walk. Instead of even lashing out at me, she laughed and told myself and others that happens every time to all of the rookies .
