I happen to be a professional cleaner and typically my busiest time of the year is in the spring. This is when everybody wants to get all their spring cleaning done and this is when I make a great deal of money. It’s a really nice time of year because people are finally able to turn off their heating systems and get their HVAC tune-ups. Admittedly, I have had some uncomfortable experiences cleaning some houses. Some people turn off their heating systems a little too soon and I end up freezing in their household. It’s not necessarily their fault though, the weather can be crazy from time to time. I would have to turn my heating system on and off a few times before I could finally just leave it off altogether. Because I tend to expect there to be problems like this, I will usually come prepared with a warm jacket in case the household is too frigid for me to work in. I don’t want to miss out on any work during this time so I can earn a great deal of money. I also don’t mind doing yard work if people need and I will even clean up after their pets. For the most part I appreciate cleaning homes that have comfortable climate control settings, but not every single job is perfect like that. I told the owner that if they didn’t have the air conditioner fixed and working, I was not going to take on the job. That owner quickly got the HVAC workers in to fix the machine and then I was able to work in the house.
