I decided to alter my dreams a bit.
Instead of imagining the perfect house I could move into without changing a thing, I started searching for a house I could make perfect. There are a tons of little details I could improve in a house. As long as the structure is in good shape and the layout is right, the options are nearly limitless. I eventually expanded my search and came across a fixer-upper with the potential to become my dream house. There would be a great deal of work involved, a significant amount of floor repair, and so much cleaning needed to be done. The floor repair was the most pressing issue for me. Quite a few of the old floorboards would need to be removed and replaced. I am not experienced in floor repair and didn’t want to mess up the rest of the floor, so I called in a professional. There os a local company that specializes in floor cleaning, floor stripping and waxing, and even repairs and replacement when necessary. At that point, I was planning on doing all of the floor cleaning on my own. I couldn’t start the cleaning until the boards had been fixed. The guys who ran the floor cleaning business provided me a full inspection and a detailed estimate. The quote included a full floor cleaning, along with stripping and waxing. The cost was surprisingly low. I decided it was worth a few extra dollars to the professionals handle the floor cleaning and everything else.
