When I was younger, I remember wishing that I could have university over the summer, however even though that sounds completely insane, I had wonderful reason for it, but growing up, our house did not have any form of air conditioner at all whatsoever… Because all of us live in a primarily cool area, our parents did not suppose it was necessary. They said that it’s okay to not be comfortable for a few weeks of the year, and it was straight-forward for them to say since they got to escape to work for 40 minutes a week! I, on the other hand, was stuck inside our stuffy, hot house all day long throughout the week. It was no fun at all to be off of university if it meant that I was going to be dripping with sweat it out in complete as well as utter boredom! The last few weeks of university, the summer time weather would arrive. I remember cherishing those minutes of air conditioner before coming home to a hot, stuffy kitchen. I absolutely dreaded the last day of university. I looked for reasons to stay after university while I still could. I was never that involved in university activities throughout the year, although I constantly made up for it in the Last week of the university year, and for example, I attended final exam study sessions as well as end of the year events. However, eventually I had no option however to just suck it up as well as go home. Eventually, I went on to become a instructor as well as a principal! As the principal, I make sure that I constantly run the a/c liberally on hot mornings; Not only does this help kids focus, however it reminds myself and others of when I was young. I like the plan of being the cool relief for another student that might need it.
