I actually grew up as an only child.
My mom pretty much always says that she didn’t need any other youngsters because she got the perfect one the first time around. Honestly, I don’t know about that, although I do know that not having any siblings has totally influenced me as far as my own personal boundaries go. I just don’t prefer any other people touching my things. This is especially true when it comes to things in our dwelling, like our heating as well as cooling appliance. I think that since I’m the one who actually pays the bills for our heating as well as A/C appliance, I’m the one who gets to make changes to the temperature control settings. I believe that I should be the only one who is allowed to modify the temperature control settings! I tell everyone else who lives in our dwelling to keep their hands off of the temperature control. At times, people decide that they’re too sizzling or too frigid as well as they’ll turn the temperature up or down. I am definitely not okay with that! My mother also lives with us, as well as she’s the worst to turn the heating up in the middle of the evening after I’m asleep in bed. I know that she’s my mother, although I still don’t want her trying to mess with the temperature control. Maybe that makes me a truly awful person, but if it does, I don’t care in the least. I am the only person in my dwelling who needs to adjust our temperature control unit. If they don’t stop touching it, I’m undoubtedly going to get a single one of those locking boxes to put over the top of it real soon!
