When my nephew was born, he was 4 weeks early and ended up spending a couple of weeks in the NICU before doctors were comfortable sending him home. My nephew is growing up so fast and he is the light in the family’s eyes. When my nephew turned 5 years old my sister had noticed he was starting to develop some serious allergies. We live in a valley where all the pollen falls from the trees in the mountains we’re surrounded by. When my nephew wakes up in the morning his nose is runny, his eyes are all red and itchy, and his throat is always irritated. His doctors, of course, have helped him a lot over the years however they never seemed to get better, just controlled. Finally, my sister started looking at other possibilities of what may be causing or exacerbating my nephews’ allergies. One thing she found out was your air conditioning system could have a huge effect on allergies and your upper respiratory system if your HVAC system is not cleaned or maintained yearly. My sister couldn’t remember the last time she had an HVAC technician out to even look at their air conditioning unit. Her air conditioner was running fine, so she didn’t see a need, until now. She contacted our local HVAC company and scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out and clean her entire HVAC system. From changing all the filters to cleaning all the air conditioners ductwork throughout the house, to replacing the coils on the inside unit. All in hopes it helps clear up the allergens all around the home by having clean cold air coming from her air conditioning unit.
